Liam Payne’s Heartbreaking Message to Son Bear, 7, Resurfaces After Singer’s Untimely Death

More information about Liam Payne’s tragic death is coming to light.

After the former One Direction member died on Oct. 16 at the age of 31 due to a fatal fall from a balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his official cause of death has been confirmed.

According to a release shared by Argentine officials, the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 16 reported that the autopsy for Liam found his cause of death to be “polytraumism (multiple trauamtic injuries), internal and external hemorrhage.”

Coroners confirmed that the 25 injuries described in the report coincide with those expected from a fall at a height, while noting “the head injuries were sufficient to cause death, while the internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the mechanism of death.”

The release confirms no evidence of defensive wounds were found to be present that would suggest “the intervention of third parties.” A toxicology report is reportedly still pending, though the release confirms ” series of substances were seized from the musician’s room, which would prove a previous situation of alcohol and drugs consumption.”
