Canary Speech, Veteran Business Project partner to support veteran entrepreneurs

Canary Speech, maker of AI-enabled speech analysis software, announced it is partnering with nonprofit organization Veteran Business Project to provide veteran entrepreneurs with tools to manage their mental health.

Canary offers vocal biomarker technology that captures and analyzes data to determine whether irregularities exist within an individual’s speech.

The company has nine patents pertaining to vocal biomarkers, and its voice recordings can process millions of data points in 40 seconds.

The Utah-based company touts its technology as being able to detect mood, stress and energy levels before clinical screenings and before symptoms are noticeable.

Veteran Business Project members can utilize Canary Speech’s technology to monitor their mental health, access wellness recommendations and gain insight into understanding potential triggers.

The aim is to allow veterans to focus on achieving their business objectives while managing their mental health.

“This partnership with Canary Speech aligns seamlessly with our mission of ‘Offering Hope, Saving Lives,'” Lynn Lowder, CEO and founder of Veteran Business Project, said in a statement. “By equipping our veterans with cutting-edge technology, we’re not just enhancing their ability to succeed in business – we’re ensuring they receive the support they need and deserve, fundamentally enriching their lives.”

It also announced a partnership with Life365, a company that offers remote patient monitoring and virtual care, to integrate the companies’ technologies into a single platform.

Last year, Canary partnered with Hackensack Meridian Health to enable the health system to accelerate its AI technology for wellness. The nonprofit healthcare network and its Bear’s Den innovation accelerator program also provided a strategic investment in Canary.
